Maybe there is more light left in the world for me yet. I think I see it in the eyes of people who care about me. I think I can see it when I cut past the bullshit, at least.

It's a glittering, silver glow. It's comfortable and warm. It tells me that I'm safe for the first time. Please let this be real.
